WHAT A FRIENDLY BUNCH...

We're always looking for the opportunity to hang out with friends, so it was only right that we organised a long lunch at Fig Tree Restaurant in the Byron hinterland to celebrate the release of our AW21 'The Art of Pretending' collection.

Fig Tree is a converted old farmhouse that has just been rebuilt and reopened (after a blaze burnt it down in Nov 2019). Surrounded by grapevines, an olive grove and a 150-year-old fig tree, this spot has views of the hinterland all the way out to the Byron Bay Lighthouse. We enjoyed cocktails as they served up dishes created from the food grown in their garden and orchards.

Celebrating our new launch, we chatted about the creation and craftsmanship behind our leather goods. We also had a chance to be a little creative ourselves, making essential oil blends. Something little to keep in our bags and enjoy on our daily travels.

Our guests included brand owners, speakers, writers, body positive models, content creators and our long time friend Claire Bernard from International Justice Mission. Claire was available to share with us a little of the work of IJM and their work to end slavery and human trafficking, a cause that continues to be close to our hearts.

We're thankful to our team who created a beautiful atmosphere for relaxed conversations and time to just hang out. Always refreshing to get to spend time with a bunch of creative, genuine, kind and generally awesome people.
